Volunteer Hours

LOG YOUR SERVICE HOURS WITH ENGAGE!

Texas State students, faculty, and staff can now submit service hours to be tracked through Engage, Student Involvement and Engagement's new organization and event management system! Read the walkthrough below to learn how you can utilize this new feature.

Step 1: Follow the link at the bottom of the page or copy/paste go.txstate.edu/hub into your browser to access the Bobcat Organization Hub. All TXST personnel (i.e., students, faculty, and staff) will be able to use their Texas State logins to access the website.

Step 2: Once logged in, click the circle in the top right corner with your initial. Click ‘Service Hours’ from the drop down menu.

Step 3: On the ‘My Service Hours’ page, click the blue box that says ‘+ Add Service Hours’.

Step 4: Complete the form by including the following information and details:

  • Your affiliated organization or department you are submitting hours on behalf of.
    • If you are submitting on behalf of an organization (ex: Bobcat Belles), you must already have membership in the Hub prior to completing the form. This will help track not only your involvement but your organization's completed service hours! Once you have membership, you can select the organization you served on behalf of!
    • If you are submitting without any connected organization (volunteering alone and/or without the representation of an organization), you can request membership to Leadership and Service as a general member by contacting getinvolved@txstate.edu or by requesting membership through the webpage in order to complete the submission process.
  • A detailed description of your volunteer work.
    • Volunteered as part of an event? Be sure to put the event name and point of contact along with the details about your service!
  • The date your service was completed on.
  • The hours and minutes you completed.
  • A verification contact - the point of contact for your service event or site so the approver can verify.

Step 5: Submit!
