Nonprofit and Volunteer Fair

GET CONNECTED TO SERVICE!

The Nonprofit and Volunteer Fair is a new initiative from the Leadership and Service team to provide Texas State University students with volunteer opportunities in and around San Marcos, potential career pathways into the nonprofit sector, or resources that could aid their experiences while at Texas State. Our goal for this fair is to connect students to the surrounding community and either discover new pathways into service or continue their service journeys while at or beyond Texas State University.

What can I expect?

Attendees of the fair can expect to interact with different organizations - either nonprofit organizations within the Central Texas region and out-of-state, or Texas State University student groups or departments - that cater to community service and social impact. Attendees can either find ways to get connected with agencies here in San Marcos and give back, find a service-based student organization that fits their interests, or find opportunities to pursue internships and other career pathways promoted by our invited nonprofit organizations.

This is a great time to find new opportunities to volunteer your time and give back in a variety of ways, gain experience in a potential internship, or learn more about what you can do as a new graduate to continue your service journey beyond Texas State University.

When is it?

This year's Nonprofit and Volunteer Fair is scheduled to be on Tuesday, February 13 from 10:00am - 3:00pm. It will be located in the Grand Ballroom inside the LBJ Student Center.
