LBJ Achievement Scholarship

Lyndon B. Johnson, 36th president of the United States, was sworn into office after the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Johnson, hereby known as LBJ, launched an ambitious slate of progressive reforms aimed at creating a “Great Society” for all Americans. Many programs he championed are Medicare, Head Start, the Voting Rights Act, and the Civil Rights Act.  

LBJ was a figure of progression and helped usher a new era in American History. His namesake scholarship is a testament to the dedication, perseverance, and obtainment of your education.

As a recipient of the scholarship, you will enter the Top Scholars program. A program that is designed to assist with your education progression and persistence in your undergraduate journey.
